hang on a minute

eveybody seems to have a different idea as to what is going on in this animation. If your intention was to keep it somewhat abstract then this doesnt matter but as a narrative piece i think this fails. I thought it was just a guy conforming when these things find out about him and start chasing him but it turns out that they are helping him and were originally people seeing as he transforms into one when he relises he doesnt have to conform because there are others out there like him because of the other person in the crowd with that helmet on. Maybe. But there are so many different takes on this story. The single level animation was pretty good.

Quite a nice animation. Nothing too special though. Its the small things in this that work well like the girl flicking back her hair etc. Nice touch. It is somewhat similiar to "Creature Comforts" but is exactly the same as the Iirsh tv seris "Give up yer oul sins". You should look it up, it would probably be of some interest to you.

A top quality bit of animation there. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The last scene with him is brilliant. Extremely detailed shall we say.

Wow I think i just had an epileptic fit looking at all that flashing. I just plain didn't like this one. You should have gone out or something instead on saturday.

A nice story there. You really get into the relationship of the two characters. Well done. It's sad how true that story can be. That girl was such a scumbag.

[2 - The Story of Khale]

Firstly i can't help but feel this would be better as episode 1 as an intro to the world of Khale and it seems just like an opening sequence for an episode as nothing much happens of any consequence. I know alot does actually happen but you have set yourself up where the audience are expecting commercial animation quality. The animation is good but at some parts the shorcuts are too obvious. The enviornment and backgrounds are your strong point. They really bring it all together. Lovely rich backgrounds. Overall an enjoyable bit of flash to watch. Nicely done.

Excellence in Flash animation

Quite frankly this is the one of the best animations on NG only coparable to other Adam Phillips animations. There may be funnier of perhaps more emotional animations but for animation using flash, it is in a class of its own and I would greatly like to Adam win the tank award 2008.

I really liked this. You made the 3D graphics (3d max?) fit so neatly with the tankman style. Its damn hard to make 3d look good and I think you have a achieved a timeless piece whose graphics will never age unlike so many others.

This is not single level animation not frame by frame as people call it on NG and not very good quality stuff at that. sspprriinnggyy why can we not expect smooth animation from this guy. To achieve that all you need is 12 frames a second. All that is required is patience. There is some potential in this but so far all this is, is a pose test with no inbetweens. If this is your very first attempt at single level I would congradulate you on attempting a difficult medium. Go back and inbetween this. You will have a smoother looking animation.
